Liner boat to the Rhine Falls

Unsere Schifffahrt zum Rheinfall ist die perfekte Alternative für Gäste, die dem grossen Tourismus am Rheinfall aus dem Weg gehen möchten und in Rheinau die zahlreichen Restaurants besuchen oder die barocke Klosterkirche begutachten möchten. Geniessen Sie eine 40-minütige Schiffsfahrt flussaufwärts entlang des 7 Kilometer «rheinischen Amazonas» und erfahren Sie mehr über die Landschaftsgeschichte rund um den Rhein und den einheimischen Biber direkt vom Bootsführer. Selbstverständlich gehört auch bei dieser Kursfahrt die spektakuläre Rheinfallbecken-Rundfahrt dazu!

3B - Liner boat to the Rhine Falls in detail

Schifffahrt zum Rheinfall flussaufwärts - Board the boat in Rheinau. Learn more about the history of the landscape and the local beaver directly from the boat guide along the 7 km long «Rhenish Amazon» upstream. At the end, an impressive Rhine Falls basin tour awaits you, during which you can experience the Rhine Falls at close quarters. A unique experience!

Important information

  • The current departure times can be found in our Online-Shop .
  • Dogs can travel (free of charge) provided they are well socialised and kept on a short lead. The dog must have a dry hair and must not sit on the seat.
  • The line boat docks at Rheinfall Schlössli Wörth. If you would like to get off at Schloss Laufen, you can use the ticket from Rheinau to take the crossing to Schloss Laufen.
    The crossing is included in the ticket price.
  • This trip can also be booked as a group trip. Please ask us for the group discount code (for tour operators). If the desired departure time is no longer available, please contact us. We will check the capacity utilisation and can increase the contingent with another ship if necessary.
  • Depending on the number of guests and weather conditions, all journeys can be extended, reduced or cancelled completely.
  • Line trips are carried out from one booking. Cancellations will only be made if there are no bookings.

Sundays and public holidays from 24 March to 13 October 2024, Saturdays from 4 May to 31 August 2024 and daily from 29 June to 1 September 2024.

Depending on the number of guests and weather conditions, all journeys can be extended, reduced or cancelled completely.

Cancellation rules

The ticket you have purchased is only valid for the date and departure time you have selected.

Changes to the reserved journey can be made to Ernst Mändli AG up to 48 hours before departure at the latest.

Tipps und Vorbereitung für eine gelungene Schifffahrt zum Rheinfall ab Rheinau

We recommend that you arrive punctually at the "Rheinau Kraftwerk" mooring point.

Mooring points

The Big Tour from Rheinau departs from the Rheinau Kraftwerk landing stage. A stopover is made at the Rheinfall Schlössli Wörth landing stage. You have the option of leaving the boat or taking it back to Rheinau.

If you would like to walk to the castle, the boat trip is included in the ticket price.

Our mooring points

Arrival

We recommend travelling by post bus to "Rheinau, Hallenbad", from where you can walk to the "Kraftwerk" lmooring point in approx. 10 minutes.

Alternatively, you can get off at "Rheinau, Unterstadt", for example to visit the monastery church beforehand and then walk to the "Kraftwerk" mooring point (approx. 20 minutes).

If you are travelling by car, parking spaces are available on Klosterplatz for a fee.
