Our boat trip to the Rhine Falls is the perfect alternative for guests who want to avoid the crowds at the Rhine Falls and visit the numerous restaurants in Rheinau or admire the baroque monastery church. Enjoy a 40-minute boat trip upstream along the 7-kilometer «Rhenish Amazon» and learn more about the history of the landscape around the Rhine and the local beaver directly from the boat guide. Of course, this cruise also includes a spectacular tour of the Rhine Falls basin!
A walk along the Rhine (riverside path), returning by boat, is also worth a trip for families with children. Bicycles can also be transported by boat if there is space.

Depending on the number of guests and weather conditions, all journeys can be extended, reduced or cancelled completely.

The ticket you have purchased is only valid for the date and departure time you have selected.
Changes to the reserved journey can be made to Ernst Mändli AG up to 48 hours before departure at the latest.
We recommend that you arrive punctually at the «Rheinau Kraftwerk» mooring point.
The Big Tour from Rheinau departs from the Rheinau Kraftwerk landing stage. A stopover is made at the Rheinfall Schlössli Wörth landing stage. You have the option of leaving the boat or taking it back to Rheinau.
If you would like to walk to the castle, you can use the crossing (no. 2). However, this is not included in the ticket price.
We recommend travelling by post bus to «Rheinau, Hallenbad», from where you can walk to the «Kraftwerk» lmooring point in approx. 10 minutes.
Alternatively, you can get off at «Rheinau, Unterstadt», for example to visit the monastery church beforehand and then walk to the «Kraftwerk» mooring point (approx. 20 minutes).
If you are travelling by car, parking spaces are available on Klosterplatz for a fee.
